Transformers star Shia LaBeouf announced via Twitter today that he's retiring "from all public life" after his highly publicized case of plagiarism and the ensuing fallout.

Here are Shia's tweets from earlier Friday:Need a refresher on how we got to the point where Even Stevens threw in the towel? It began when it was revealed that LaBeouf had blatantly plagiarized comic book creator Daniel Clowes' graphic novel Justin M. Damiano for his short film HowardCantour.com. LaBeouf only made matters worse by also tweeting plagiarized apologies to Clowes from other celebrity and newsworthy mea culpas. LaBeouf even went so far as to skywrite an apology to Clowes. He then tweeted a photo of the Cease and Desist order sent to him by Clowes' attorney.

The last straw with many may have been when LaBeouf gave a less than penitent interview to Bleeding Cool wherein he declared, "Authorship is censorship. … Simple – should creation have to check with a lawyer?"

This stance got LaBeouf mocked online by other celebrities and artists, including Seth Rogen and Patton Oswalt.

LaBeouf, 27, is currently filming the World War II film Fury opposite Brad Pitt. A former child star, LaBeouf's credits include Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Constantine, Holes, The Greatest Game Ever Played, Lawless, Disturbia, Eagle Eye, Surf's Up, and I, Robot.

The Idea Of The Name Came When I Lost The Channel Of XboxYasoShow, I Saw The Reflection Of A Movie On My Glossy Window While The Light Was On My Tv.
So This Is My Story Of GlossyFilms And We Are Going To Start Soon On Our First Movie Or Film Soon :D.
